CLAUDIA & CARSTEN'S WORLD EXPEDITION
BRAZIL - Jericoacoara - Recife - Olinda - Salvador - Morro de Sao Paulo
![]() JericoacoaraFrom Manaus, we decided to skip the final boat ride from there to Belem and instead we flew into Fortaleza. From there we took a bus to the beach of Jericoacoara, one of the Brazilians' favorite beaches. We can understand why. | ![]() | ![]() Sunset from the dunes |

![]() Bus station in RecifeAfter our days in Olinda and Recife, we took the bus to Salvador de Bahia. Worst bus ride ever. Brazilians are not quiet people and when it's late and you are tired and want to sleep at 2:00 AM, you don't appreciate when people listen to loud music in the bus and speak loudly on their phones without worrying about others. | ![]() Salvador | ![]() Salvador |
