Waiting for our boat

Labuan Bajo is quiet small, so while having lunch in a small local restaurant owned by a girl from Montenegro, we met Wida and Daniel, who owned a boat which could take us around the Islands of Komodo. We rented it and sailed for 4 days. It was fantastic!

Rinca Island

Komodo National Park has many islands and most of them have Komodo Dragons. Rinca happens to have the largest population of dragons, so it is the main entrance of the park and the place where the tours stop to see the dragons.

Komodo dragons eat everything they can find, so baby dragons live in trees until they grow to a size where they can escape other predators.

Mating

These were the biggest dragons we saw.They were almost 3 meters long. They were mating, so they didn't seem to pay much attention to us.
