![]() Long tableThe place was full but these men had a reservation for this long table, so they were kind to let us squeeze in among their friends. We had to try the local Okinawan "wine", Awamori, which is really rice firewater. The men were folklorists of traditional Okinawan music and played the Sanshin, a local guitar type of instrument with three strings covered in python skin. | ![]() Market | ![]() Fukushuen Chinese GardenThis was built in 1992 and it was a donation from the Chinese city of Fuzhou, which is the sister city of Naha. |
